Getting about

Coming back to the Mainland on MV Eynhallow. Picture courtesy of Steven Heddle.Getting about on the Mainland is easy if you have a car or bike. If you don't, you can hire a car from a number of sources, or bicycles from CycleOrkney, or use scheduled bus services or taxis.

Travelling from island to island is also straightforward using Orkney Ferries services, or you can take the plane to Stronsay, Eday, Westray, Papa Westray, Sanday or North Ronaldsay using the scheduled services from Loganair.

All scheduled services are listed on www.orkneypublictransport.com along with useful travel hints.
